Sometimes you need quiet time. It doesn’t mean something’s wrong — it means you’re recharging, thinking, or protecting your peace.
To help parents and educators understand that when a Black girl becomes quieter, more private, or less openly expressive, it doesn’t always mean something is “wrong.”
It may mean she is learning herself — finding safety, voice, and balance in a world that often misreads her.
This module invites parents and educators to support that growth by responding with curiosity, not control.
